KISS & WAL-MART: A COUPLE?

KISS AND WAL-MART DEAL ON THE WAY? WE THINK YES!
(from Kiss Mask Webzine)
The rumors are swirling over Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's appearance (along with KISS manager Doc McGhee) at the Wal-Mart shareholder's meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Bud Walton Arena that KISS will sell their new (untitled) album at the nation's 2nd largest retailer.
With Paul and Gene frustrated with the current situation of the recording industry, or lack there of, it makes sense that KISS would cut an exclusive deal with such a large chain. The release will mark KISS' first album since 1998's PSYCHO CIRCUS, their first in 11 years. This marriage between artist and retailer is working. AC/DC and Miley Cyrus have both released album's through Wal-Mart. Both artists have has stellar years. Also comes word that Aerosmith are rumored to be following suit.
A KISS/Wal-Mart deal could also generate a merchandising blitz at the retailer as well with KISS' unique brand of over 2,500 products under license.
We're betting at KISS MASK that this is indeed reality and that a Wal-Mart only KISS album is on it's way with a September release and 60 date US/Canadian tour to follow.
